DDA Public Relations has promoted Dana Archer to the posts of president and partner from the exec VP slot.
In her new position, she will assume responsibility for DDA’s business and personnel in the Los Angeles and New York offices along with broadening the company’s feature and TV work.
DDA said Archer has expanded DDA’s footprint in Los Angeles, set up offices in New York and integrated the U.S. domestic publicity and strategic counsel divisions.
CEO Lawrence Atkinson and chief operating officer John Stannard Atkinson said, “As the requirements of our clients have become truly global, our presence in the US has become increasingly important, and Dana’s proven ability to drive the business in North America, and by extension the rest of the world, made her the perfect choice to become a partner in our business.”
Archer’s corporate clients include Participant Media, Worldview Entertainment, Focus Features International, Lakeshore Entertainment and the Dubai International Film Festival. She also handles both domestic and international film campaigns including festival work at Sundance, Berlin, Cannes and Toronto.
Archer broke into PR at Warren Cowan & Associates, followed by B/W/R Public Relations and SWPR Group before joining DDA in 2009.
