IM Global Taps 'Parkland' Producer Production

Jackson has worked on 'Bourne,' 'American Pie' franchises

IM Global has tapped veteran producer Matt Jackson as president of production of the sales-financing-production banner.

Jackson had been U.S. president of production for Exclusive Meidia with producing credits including “Parkland,” “Dark Places,” “End of Watch” and “Snitch.” He began his career as an exec at Paramount and Universal and worked on the “Bourne” and “American Pie” franchises.

Jackson is reporting directly to CEO Stuart Ford. He will oversee all development and production activity, working with president of physical production Steve Squillante and acquisitions executives Ben Shields-Catlin and Ben Rekhi.

Six-year-old IM Global is partnered with Fox on “Walking with Dinosaurs” and the financier on “A Haunted House 2.” It’s just wrapped on “Incarnate,” co-financed with Blumhouse and to be released by Universal, and is in post-production on Andrew Lau’s “Revenge of the Green Dragons,” executive produced by Martin Scorsese.

Forthcoming IM Global productions will be “Autobahn,” to be directed by Eran Creevy and starring Nicholas Hoult, Amber Heard and Anthony Hopkins; “One Minute to Midnight,” to be directed by George Nolfi; and “Trollhunter,” to be directed by Neil Marshall and produced by Chris Columbus’ 1492 Pictures and CJ Entertainment.
