‘Silver Linings’ lands Australian Academy’s top nod

David O. Russell, Jennifer Lawrence also win

“Silver Linings Playbook” earned three kudos at the second annual Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Intl. Awards.

The pic earned the award for top film, as well as honors for director for David O. Russell and lead actress Jennifer Lawrence at Saturday’s ceremony, held in Los Angeles.

Lead-actor kudos went to Daniel Day-Lewis for “Lincoln,” while Quentin Tarantino won best screenplay for “Django Unchained.”

AACTA was established by the Australian Film Institute in 2011.
