Zuiker to get Int’l Digital Emmy Pioneer Prize

Honor fetes his work on 'Cybergeddon'

Multihyphenate Anthony E. Zuiker will be feted with the Pioneer Prize at the Intl. Digital Emmy Awards on April 8 at Mip TV’s creative market and forum.

Award recognizes Zuiker’s work on the online thriller “Cybergeddon.” Past recipients include “The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers” creator Jon M. Chu and “Heroes” creator-exec producer Tim Kring.

Best known for creating the global hit “CSI” franchise, Zuiker tops the Dare to Pass shingle and has embraced a career of cross-platform storytelling.

Currently, he is exec producer of “Wonderland,” a drama pilot currently in production for NBC, and has announced a foray into unscripted TV with “Whodunnit?,” a show that tests contestants’ investigative skills.

“Cybergeddon” launched first on Yahoo! in September in 25 countries and 10 languages as a series of three installments.

Additionally, Zuiker will be a part of Mip TV’s conference program with a Media Mastermind keynote on the future of storytelling.

He is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and CAA.
