Second run of political drama starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright to hit streaming service Feb. 14, 2014

Netflix posted an extended trailer for the second season of political thriller “House of Cards,” which ends with the tagline: “And the butchery begins.”

The Internet-video leader posted the two-minute trailer a day after “House of Cards” notched four Golden Globe noms, including best drama series and acting nods for Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright — most among TV contenders.

Second season of “House of Cards” is set to premiere Feb. 14, 2014, with all 13 episodes available at once worldwide. First season won three Emmy Awards: David Fincher for directing along with wins in casting and cinematography.

The series, based on the BBC miniseries of the same name, is executive produced by Fincher, Beau Willimon, Joshua Donen, Eric Roth, Kevin Spacey, Dana Brunetti, Andrew Davies, Michael Dobbs and David Manson. Drama is produced by Donen/Fincher/Roth and Kevin Spacey’s Trigger Street Productions in association with Media Rights Capital for Netflix.
