Directors and cinematographers enjoy having multiple opportunities to get the perfect shot. And now, so can marketing departments.
Today, Twitter’s video platform Vine announced two upgrades to entice smartphone helmers: The Sessions feature, which lets users edit up to 10 posts before publishing, and Time Travel, an option that lets you “remove, reorganize or replace any shot within a post before you share it.”
These features should entice studios, which are increasingly using Vine (and the video function on Twitter rival Instagram) to share teaser trailers and exclusive moments with fans, such as Fox did today with “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”
The announcement comes as Twitter makes a bigger play for TV viewing in particular, partnering with Comcast on a “See It” feature to spur TV watching on its platform and also with Nielsen to reveal the correlation between TV watching and social media.
