Sony Crackle to premiere season 3 of comedy web series Jan. 2

Sony’s Crackle online entertainment network announced Tina Fey, Louis CK and Patton Oswalt will be among the guests for the third season of Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” web comedy series premiering next month.

Louis CK will guest in the season 3 opener, slated to debut at noon Eastern on Jan. 2. The other comedians to appear in the six-episodes season are Howard Stern, Jay Leno and Todd Barry. New episodes will premiere every Thursday through Feb. 6.

The first two seasons of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” — Crackle’s most-watched original series – featured Seinfeld conversing with David Letterman, Ricky Gervais, Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman and other fellow comedians. Season 3 of the series will run exclusively on Crackle and comediansincarsgettingcoffee.com. Jerry Seinfeld is the exec producer of the web series, which is produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Embassy Row.
