Russian Biz Sets Up Shop AFM

The Russian film biz is making a splash in Los Angeles. Roskino, which promotes Russian filmmaking in international markets, has a large presence in the American Film Market.

The AFM comes on the heels of Russian Film Week, which ran Nov. 1-5. Russian Film Week also unspooled “Shoes” by Konstantin Fam, who will present his new film “Witnesses” at AFM.

At AFM, Roskino will present 32 Russian films; 25 companies are represented on Roskino’s stand at the Loews Hotel, including Glavkino, Koktebel, Profit and ROK Films.
