Event may take place at Haim Saban's home

President Obama will return to Los Angeles on Nov. 25 for a series of fundraisers, having canceled an event in September because of the unfolding crisis in Syria.

Obama will appear an event on the evening of Nov. 25 to raise money for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, according to sources familiar with the plans, with the home of Haim Saban being eyed as the venue for the visit. Obama may also appear the next morning to raise money for the Democratic National Committee.

Obama had been scheduled to appear at the home of producer Marta Kauffman in September at a fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee, but that event was canceled. First Lady Michelle Obama was to raise money earlier this month for the DNC at an event at the home of “Everybody Loves Raymond” creator Phil Rosenthal, but that event also was canceled because of the government shutdown.
