City of Hope gala. Sept. 19, Hercules Campus, Playa Vista, Calif. Honors CAA’s Rob Light, who led Summer of Hope’s cancer-research/care campaign.
School Day Gala. Sept. 20, Palm Restaurant, Los Angeles. CAA Foundation celebrates its partnership with Communities in School.
Evening Before the Emmys. Sept. 21, Century Park, BevHills. Benefits MPTF.
Simply Shakespeare Gala. Sept. 25, Santa Monica College. Paul McCartney, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson headline “Two Gentlemen of Verona,” to benefit the Shakespeare Center.
Rosie’s Theater Kids Gala. Sept. 25, Marriott Marquis, New York. Rosie O’Donnell’s legit charity honors HBO’s Sheila Nevins.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Inaugural Gala. Oct. 17, Annenberg Center, BevHills. Arts fundraiser is co-chaired by Wallis Annenberg, Brad Pitt, Robert Redford and Jamie Tisch.
Fulfillment Fund’s Stars gala; Oct. 23 at the Beverly Hilton. Honors Chris Meledandri, founder & CEO, Illumination Entertainment.
NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Gala.  Oct. 28, Beverly Wilshire, BevHills. Honors producer Liza Chasin.
B&C Hall of Fame. Oct. 28, Waldorf-Astoria, Gotham. Honors HBO’s Richard Plepler.
Oceana Partners Awards Gala. Oct. 30, Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills. The environmental group honors Hillary Clinton and HBO.

Lacma Art + Film Gala. Nov. 2, Lacma, L.A. Co-chaired by Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio, the museum fundraiser honors David Hockney and Martin Scorsese.
Make Believe on Broadway Gala. Nov. 4, venue TBD, Gotham. Ian McKellen hosts fundraiser for Only Make Believe, which brings theater to children with chronic illnesses and disabilities.
Stand-Up for Heroes Gala. Nov. 6, Madison Square Garden, New York. This is the centerpiece of the New York Comedy Festival Bob Woodruff Foundation, a veterans’ support org.
Heroes Gala. Nov. 12, Cipriani, Gotham. Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America honors Jon Stewart. Brian Williams hosts.
American Cinematheque Moving Picture Ball, Nov. 15, Beverly Wilshire, benefits the Cinematheque and its activities.
Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai Gala, Nov. 19, Beverly Wilshire, this year honorees include Lauren and Richard Donner. Benefits projects at Cedars-Sinai.


L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center Gala. Date TBD, at Roland Emmerich’s Hollywood Hills home.
