Bethenny Frankel’s eponymous talkshow passed its six-week test run this summer and will see its official syndie launch on Fox stations next year.
“Bethenny,” from Warner Bros. TV, is slated to bow on 17 Fox-owned stations in markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas. The hourlong yakker tested in six metropolitan markets during June and July and showed pointed ratings increases in key demos, including 80% in women 25-54.
“This summer’s test proves Bethenny has a distinctive, unique appeal that women flock to,” said WB Domestic TV Distribution topper Ken Werner. “No matter the time period or city, with no off-air support, and in the middle of the summer, daytime viewers made Bethenny Frankel appointment TV.”
“Bethenny” will be produced by Telepictures Prods. and Ellen Degeneres’s shingle, A Very Good Production.
