VH1 slates three new series

Skeins follow a youth choir, a Harlem tattoo shop and celebs

Viacom’s VH1 has greenlit three new series: “Grand River Singers Project,” which follows a choir of young adults; “Black Ink,” about a successful Harlem tattoo shop; and “Miss You Much,” hosted by Catherine Reitman, which peeks at the lives of three celebs each week.

“Miss You Much” will join returning series “Best Week Ever” for a new humor block on Friday nights starting in January.

The network also acquired Ice-T’s feature-length documentary “Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap” for its Rock Doc franchise.

Other newbies include special “The Do Something Awards,” honoring the nation’s best young world-changers, and miniseries “VH1’s 100 Greatest Kid Stars.”
