Travel Channel reupped a slew of reality skeins as the cabler continues to “redefine travel entertainment,” according to Travel’s g.m. Andy Singer.
Rookie skeins “Baggage Battles,” “Hotel Impossible,” “Toy Hunter” and “Trip Flip” received second-season nods.
“Baggage Battles” will return with 14 new half-hour segs on Nov. 14 while “Hotel Impossible” will relaunch with 13 new hourlong episodes Dec. 3. “Toy Hunter” and “Trip Flip” each received orders for 13 more episodes, and each will bow in 2013.
In addition to a pickup for “Toy Hunter,” Travel Channel ordered six new episodes for its current freshman run, including a holiday spesh.
Vet travel program “Bizarre Foods America,” with Andrew Zimmer,n was also picked up for a seventh season that is set to premiere in 2013.
