Cablers give 10-seg orders to 'Great Escape,' 'Men at Work'

Turner Broadcasting picked up a reality skein for TNT and a buddy comedy for TBS.

TNT gave a 10-episode greenlight to an unscripted series dubbed “The Great Escape,” from “Amazing Race” exec producers Elise Doganieri and Bertram van Munster. Series, hosted by Rich Eisen, is described as dropping contestants into the middle “of their own epic action/adventure movie” and challenging them to escape from extraordinary situations. “Great Escape” hails from Fox Television Studios, Imagine Entertainment, The Hochberg Ebersol Co. and Profiles Television Prods.

TBS ordered 10 segs of “Men at Work,” from Sony Pictures TV and Jamie Tarses’ Fanfare banner. Multiam laffer about four guys who work for a magazine was created by Breckin Meyer, who exec produces with Tarses and Fanfare’s Julia Franz. Series stars Danny Masterson, James Lesure, Michael Cassidy and Adam Busch.
