Project will focus on baseball all-star's life with fiancee, kids
TLC is going to bat with Pete Rose.
Cabler will follow the life of Major League Baseball’s all-time hit leader with “Pete Rose and Kiana Kim Family Project,” which will follow Rose and his fiancee as they plan their wedding. Rose, who has four kids, lives and works in Las Vegas while Kim and her two children are based in Los Angeles.
Discovery-owned net has ordered five episodes, and production has already begun. Telecasts will air later this year. Creature Films is producing.
“This series will open the door into a very modern family dynamic of trying to blend families when your kids are no longer children, and when your private life is in the public spotlight,” said TLC general manager Amy Winter.
After MLB produced a report that said Rose was betting on baseball, the former Cincinnati Reds all-star has been banned from the Hall of Fame.
