TLC is reaching for the 6-year-old demo now.
The Discovery-owned cabler has greenlit “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” featuring the breakout star of its kid pageant series “Toddlers and Tiaras.” Series will examine both tyke Alana Thompson and her eccentric Georgia family. From Authentic Entertainment, the six-episode, half-hour “Boo Boo” will air in August. TLC has done well with “Toddlers and Tiaras” and is hoping to draw the same aud to “Boo Boo.”
