The Weather Channel has secured a spot as the U.S. partner on the global production of “Tipping Points,” hosted by climate journalist Bernice Notenboom.
Docuseries focuses on catalysts for climate change and its effect on the world’s population. Skein will follow scientists as they analyze facts that make weather systems unpredictable. Produced by Unboxed Media, docuseries will bow in October 2013 as six hourlong episodes. Its the latest programming to join Weather Channel’s growing original content slate, which includes “Coast Guard Alaska,” “Iron Men” and “Ice Pilots.” Net recently greenlit docuseries “Plane Xtreme.”‘Tipping Points’ moves to Weather Channel
