Talkshow trio back for more

'Maury,' 'Springer,' 'Wilkos' renewed

Daytime talkshows “Maury,” “The Jerry Springer Show” and “The Steve Wilkos Show” have been renewed.

The NBCU Domestic TV Distribution franchises have all been sold through September 2016, extending their fall 2014 runs with an additional two-season pickup.

Stations groups have sold the syndicated skeins to stations representing more than 60% of the U.S., including KTLA Los Angeles, WPIX New York and WGN Chicago.

The yakkers continue to deliver both ratings and longevity. “Maury” lands over 3.3 million daily viewers and “Springer” has been on the air for more than two decades. “Wilkos” averages 1.8 million viewers each day and has seen notable ratings increases in key demos among women.
