Syfy renews ‘Haven’ for fourth season

Series airs at 10 p.m. Friday for NBCU cabler

Syfy has ordered 13 episodes for a fourth season of “Haven.”

Series has performed well for the NBCUniversal cabler in its 10 p.m. Friday timeslot, averaging 2.4 million viewers and 1.2 million in the 25-54 demo, according to live-plus-7 data.

Based on the Stephen King novella “The Colorado Kid,” the series follows an FBI agent in a small Maine town who discovers many uncovered secrets.

From Canadian-based Entertainment One, show was created by Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn, who exec produce with John Morayniss, David MacLeod Lloyd Segan, Shawn Piller, Scott Shepherd and Matt McGuinness.

Toplining the cast are Emily Rose, Eric Balfour and Lucas Bryant.
