CBS and Warner Bros. TV have recruited comedy vets Andrew Reich and Ted Cohen to serve as showrunners and exec producers of the laffer pilot “Super Fun Night,” from Conan O’Brien’s Conaco banner.
Reich and Cohen (“Friends”) most recently fielded ABC’s short-lived cross-dressing comedy “Work It.” The pair produced a second comedy pilot (“Smothered”) for ABC last year as well. “Super Fun Night” was penned by and stars Rebel Wilson (“Bridesmaids”). It revolves around a trio of femme friends who vow to make Friday a “super fun” night every week. Mark Cendrowski (“The Big Bang Theory”) is on board to direct the multicamera pilot, which is slated to lense in mid-April in L.A. O’Brien is also exec producing with Conaco’s David Kissinger and Jeff Ross. Wilson is a co-exec producer.‘Super Fun’ recruits showrunner pair
