LONDON — AMC’s Sundance Channel and WEtv have continued their Asian expansion with a deal securing carriage on Taiwanese IPTV platform CNS.
Both networks will air 24/7 in high definition, with Mandarin subtitles. AMC/Sundance Channel Global also announced the addition of Keith Mak to their Asian team. Mak will oversee affiliate distribution and marketing for Sundance Channel and WEtv in Asia. He will report to Ed Palluth, exec VP, global distribution, AMC/Sundance Channel Global. Most recently, Mak was senior director, TV network distribution for Celestial Tiger Entertainment in Hong Kong.
