Seven exec replaces Rory Callaghan

LONDON — Oz shingle Southern Star, owned by Endemol, has tapped Janeen Faithfull as its new CEO.

Faithfull is head of content and rights management at Seven Network, and will replace Rory Callaghan, who had announced his departure.

She has 28 years’ international experience in the TV biz, including 15 years at Seven.

Faithfull’s previous roles at Seven include head of network production, where she was responsible for the creation, development and production of new fare.

Her previous gigs have included vice-prexy of business affairs, Columbia Tristar Television in the U.S., and a senior business affairs role at Oz’s Nine Network.

A start date will be announced in due course.
