Sierra/Affinity shifts into television at Mipcom

Sales company also pacts with Georgeville

Film sales company Sierra/Affinity is shifting into the smallscreen biz and is partering with Georgeville Television on several projects.

Move into television will take place at the upcoming global sales Mipcom mart at Cannes in October.

Sierra/Affinity is led by CEO Nick Meyer, who served as president of Lionsgate Intl. and helped spread the word of “Mad Men” and “Weeds” to worldwide auds.

Georgeville recently pacted with NBCUniversal cabler Syfy for “Blake’s 7,” a reboot of the British series, with director Martin Campbell and writer Joe Pokaski attached.
