Showtime ups marketing duo

Susan Frank, Emily Gould to overseer campaigns for originals and specials

Showtime has promoted Susan Frank and Emily Gould to co-heads of the program marketing and advertising departments.

Pair will serve as VPs and report to Donald Buckley, Showtime’s exec VP of program marketing, media, promotions and digital services.

Frank and Gould will oversee strategic development of marketing programs and consumer advertising campaigns, with a focus on original programming and specials. They will also continue to oversee both internal and external ad agencies for the net.

“The combined wealth of experience between Susan and Emily is unmatched,” Buckley said. “With them at the helm, we look forward to many more fruitful launches as we head into Comic-Con, the fall premieres of ‘Homeland’ and ‘Dexter,’ the return of our hit series in the spring, and our two new dramas in 2013.”

Gould and Frank previously served as the net’s senior directors of program marketing and advertising and have logged seven years and 13 years at Showtime, respectively.
