‘Shahs’ renewed for second season

Bravo reality series averaged 1.2 million in season one

Bravo is staying on “Sunset.”

NBCUniversal cabler has ordered a second season of “Shahs of Sunset,” as the first season concluded Sunday with 1.5 million overall viewers tuning in and 1 million in the 18-49 demo. For the six-episode season, the show averaged 1.2 million viewers.

Series, about the affluent Persian community of Los Angeles, is produced by Ryan Seacrest Prods. Seacrest, Adam Sher and Pete Tartaglia serve as exec producers.

Also on Bravo Sunday, the first part of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion drew 3.1 million viewers.
