Bravo series only draws 1.1 million viewers
Not everything on Bravo turns to gold.
Sunday’s premiere of net’s newest reality series “Shahs of Sunset” drew a meager 1.1 million total viewers, losing slightly less than half the audience from lead-in “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” In the 18-49 demo, “Shahs” drew 707,000.
“Shahs,” which aired at 10 p.m., was the NBCUniversal cabler’s look at the affluent Iranian community who live in Los Angeles. Bravo has ordered six episodes.
Series marks the first collaboration between Bravo and Ryan Seacrest Prods., which produces a handful of shows for E!, including the Kardashian franchise.
Exec producers are Seacrest, Adam Sher and Pete Tartaglia.
