Sensio Technologies has partnered with National Geographic Cinema Ventures for 3D content on Sensio’s 3DGO video-on-demand platform.
Service, which will be available in the U.S. this fall, allows anyone with a Sensio Hi-Fi 3D-compatible TV to stream movies and programs after installing a proprietary 3DGO app — subscriptions or other hardware are not necessary. Programming has yet to be announced, but one of the first films that will be available through the Nat Geo-Sensio venture will be “Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure.” Details regarding 3DGO’s availability through other platforms like Apple TV are still unclear.
