Seacrest group acquires Civic

Marketing firm works with HBO, ESPN, A&E

Ryan Seacrest’s investment group has acquired Civic Entertainment, a marketing services agency whose clients have included HBO, ESPN and A&E Networks.

The deal for a minority stake in Civic was make through his personal investment vehicle Seacrest Global Group, created to acquire properties that can work with his production business and new cable network AXS TV, created with Mark Cuban.

Seacrest has been expanding his media holdings and eyed an acquisition of Dick Clark Production earlier this year.
