Scribe Craig Turk inks CBS TV Studios pact

'Private Practice' alum will develop, consult on 'Good Wife'

Scribe Craig Turk has sealed an overall deal with CBS TV Studios that calls for him to serve as consulting producer on “The Good Wife” and also develop his own series.

Turk has worked on ABC’s “Private Practice” for four years, serving two years as exec producer. He was nommed for an Emmy for his work on ABC’s “Boston Legal.”

Writing credits also include “Cold Case” and “Law & Order.” Turk has developed pilots for Fox, Touchstone and Paramount.

In addition to his showbiz experience, Turk is an attorney and political strategist. He served as chief counsel of John McCain’s presidential campaign in 2000 and has advised political parties internationally.

Turk is repped by Paradigm.
