BERLIN — RTL Deutschland will bow free-to-air digital channel RTL Nitro on April 1, showcasing U.S. fare.
Skeins include the German premieres of “Modern Family,” “Nurse Jackie” and “Chase.” Additional highlights include “The Office,” “Rome,” “CSI” and “24″ as well as classic series like “The Rockford Files” and “Charlie’s Angels.” Features include “King Kong” and “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.” It will also offer German RTL productions such as “Alarm for Cobra 11″ and “Balko.” The channel will be available as part of RTL’s digital package on Astra. RTL is also offering an accompanying VOD service at http://www.rtlnitronow.de.
