Shingle aims to make greater U.S. imprint

Lee Rierson has moved up the ranks at Shine America to become chief operating officer.

Exec has been with company since 2006 and was most recently managing director and head of worldwide business and operations under the shingle’s previously titled Reveille banner. News Corp.-owned Shine America underwent a brand revamp earlier this year.

“Lee’s vast entertainment experience and strategic expertise make him the ideal executive to help us lead Shine America into a new era, as we look to expand our imprint in the U.S. broadcast and cable TV marketplace,” said CEO Carl Fennessy. “Lee has already played a vital role in the company’s recent corporate transition.”

In his new post, Rierson will oversee all corporate and strategic operations, physical production, business and legal affairs, labor relations and human resources.

Shine America’s current series include “The Biggest Loser” on NBC, Bravo’s “Tabatha Takes Over” and “MasterChef” on Fox.
