Reiser siblings sell ‘High Life’ to NBC

Put pilot to be produced at 20th

NBC has given a put pilot order for “The High Life,” from sibling duo Will and Robin Reiser.

Pair will both pen and exec produce through 20th Century TV. Half-hour comedy follows a newly sober mother trying to live life sans alcohol.

Thruline Entertainment partner Willie Mercer and “New Girl’s” J.J. Philbin and Jake Kasdan will also exec produce, while Melvin Mar is set to produce.

Will Reiser wrote and exec produced indie bigscreen dramedy “50/50,” which starred Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a twentysomething dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Film was loosely based on Reiser’s own life.

Reisers were repped on the Peacock deal by UTA, Thruline and attorney James Feldman.

Philbin is repped by UTA and 3 Arts. Kasdan and Mar are represented by WME.
