Rebecca Romijn has landed a lead role on the TNT pilot “King and Maxwell.”
Model-turned-thesp will play Michelle Maxwell, an agent who investigates cases in D.C. after being forced to resign from the Secret Service. Her partner, Sean King, will be played by Jon Tenney. CBS TV Studios’ “King and Maxwell” is adapted from characters created by author David Baldacci. “NCIS: Los Angeles” showrunner Shane Brennan is exec producing, with Karen Spiegel and Grant Anderson producing. Baldacci is a consultant on the pilot. Romijn currently co-stars on Adult Swim’s “NTSF:SD:SUV,” a laffer satirizing procedural dramas. She is repped by 3 Arts and UTA.
