Feeling bullish about its reality fare, NBC is promoting Meredith Ahr to exec VP of alternative programming.
Ahr works closely with Peacock reality topper Paul Telegdy, to whom she reports. She will continue to be responsible for NBC’s alternative development, both in-house and with NBC’s partnerships in the creative community.
“Meredith is appreciated for her insight and thoughtfulness, both as a manager and creative executive. She couples exacting creative standards with partnership and collaborative skills in a way that pushes the department and the producers we’re in business with,” said Telegdy.
Ahr, formerly senior VP of alternative programming and development, handles a diverse slate of reality series at NBC, including hit “The Voice.”
