Fundraisers aid brain cancer research

Diane Peacock lost her son T.J. to malignant brain cancer in 2007, four days before his 19th birthday. She has since worked tirelessly to keep his memory alive through fundraisers to aid brain cancer research through her T.J.’s Dream Team nonprofit org.

On May 9, the Wrightwood, Calif.-based org will host its first Comedy for a Cure night at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, featuring perfs by John Caparulo, Kip Attaway, Shawn Pelofsky, Jade Cata-Preta and Nicholas Rutherford. E! News correspondent Ken Baker will emcee.
