'Are You Normal' kicks off June debuts

OWN will kick off its slate of new summer programming with gameshow “Are You Normal, America?” getting a sneak preview June 3.

Fellow new series “Lives on Fire” will premiere June 8, followed the next night by “Million Dollar Neighborhood” and “Real Life: the Musical.”

“Are You Normal,” which will air Mondays beginning June 4 following its sneak peek, is hosted by actress Kim Coles and Zoo Prods. producer Barry Poznick, who exec produces with Jill Van Lokeren and Jon Sinclair of Harpo Prods. and John Stevens of Zoo.

“Lives” is an unscripted series focused on the professional and personal lives of four female firefighters who battle disasters. Melody Shafir and Brad Epstein exec produce the series, from BBC Worldwide Prods.

“Million” features the effort of an entire community to raise money that will change the state of life in the town. John Ritchie is exec producing the Force Four Entertainment production. “Real Life,” from ITV Studios America, gives amateur singers professional help to stage flash musicals for loved ones; Annie Price is exec producing.

The same weekend, OWN will begin airing new episodes of “Oprah’s Next Chapter” and “Our America with Lisa Ling.”

Coming in July for OWN will be bargain-hunter competition series “Super Saver Showdown,” followed in August by “Lovetown, USA,” in which an entire city participates in a matchmaking experiment.
