NBCUniversal has named Atish Banerjea exec VP and chief information officer, based in New York, the conglom said Thursday.
Banerjea, who reports to John Wallace, prexy of NBCU Operations & Technical Services, will oversee global technology applications, infrastructure and operations for the company’s worldwide media portfolio. Most recently Banerjea served as chief technology officer for Dex One, where he led a major redesign of that company’s IT functions and helped transform it from a print-centric business to a digital media marketing company. He previously held the same title at Pearson and was an exec at Simon & Schuster.
