Tuesday saw plenty of deals made at NATPE, which runs through Wednesday afternoon.

Among them was BBC Worldwide Content & Production landing its much-recreated format ”Dancing With the Stars” in yet another country: Panama.

In a reversal of the now-established rules at the new NATPE — American content sold to distributors abroad — Ovation inked a deal for Aussie shingle Screentime Pty’s period mini ”Cloudstreet,” based on the novel by Tim Winton. The book had already been adapted into a critically acclaimed production at the National Theater with a running time roughly equal to the upcoming mini’s five hours.
