Natalka Znak upped to CEO of Zodiak USA

Exec sez expansion plans underway in N.Y. and L.A.

Natalka Znak has been appointed CEO of Zodiak USA.

Znak will be based out of the production company’s Los Angeles office, with both the L.A. and Gotham branches of Zodiak reporting to her.

Znak has been with Zodiak Media since 2010. David Frank, CEO of the international production company, calls her a “force of nature.” She initially served as the chief creative officer of Zodiak USA, where she spearheaded development of original productions and oversaw the sale and adaptation of international formats for the national market.

Before joining Zodiak, Znak was controller of factual entertainment at ITV Studios where she created hit U.K. shows including “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!” and “Hell’s Kitchen.”

In her new post, Znak will continue to pursue her motto, “big ideas, bold formats, best talent.” She told Variety that Zodiak is “busier than we’ve ever been since the time I’ve been with the company,” noting “real plans for expansion in both Los Angeles and New York.” Znak will manage Zodiak’s unscripted lineup including “Secret Millionaire,” “Celebrity Wife Swap,” “Hardcore Pawn” and the upcoming truTV skein “Killer Karaoke,” hosted by Steve-O.

“Znak is the perfect leader to build on the success we’ve had at Zodiak U.S.A. in the last couple of years,” said Frank. “As a content group, the markets of North and South America are key to Zodiak’s global ambitions — and Zodiak USA sits at the heart of our plans in building our business here.”
