Special chats with DJs, examines different genres

In a deal with GreenLight Media & Marketing, Fuse has acquired rights to air the worldwide TV preem of docu “Re:Generation Music Project.”

Initially released as a one-night theatrical event in select cities nationwide, docu features the history of different musical genres and how DJs have played a role in the evolution of music.

DJs including Skrillex, Mark Ronson and DJ Premier reimagine music through collaboration with artists from different genres, including the Doors, LeAnn Rhymes, the Funk Brothers, Erykah Badu and Berklee Symphony Orchestra while helmer Amir Bar-Lev delves into each DJ’s creative process.

“Re:Generation” will bow at 10 p.m. Aug. 17 at 10pm. Fuse premiere marks the first time the doc will air on nationwide TV.
