‘Model Employee’ comes to VH1

Series centered at Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas

VH1 has greenlit reality competish series “Model Employee.”

Skein will follow eight models as they compete to become the face of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Challenges will test not only the contestants modelling ability but their knowledge of the casino, forcing them to dive into gritty tasks like cleaning the hotel’s shark tank or sorting through trash for recyclable items.

Chrissy Teigen will host the program. Former Orbit Gum spokesmodel Vanessa Branch, Mandalay marketing VP Patrick Miller and Jimmy Smith, CEO of Amusement Park Entertainment, will be seated at the judges’ table.

Viacom cabler has ordered eight episodes, to bow early next year.

“Model Employee” is produced for VH1 by Studio Lambert.
