McCarthy develops VH1 reality show

Series will skewer pop culture events, personalities

Jenny McCarthy, who kick-started her TV career at Viacom, is returning to the conglom with a self-titled reality series at VH1.

“The Jenny McCarthy Show,” which will feature guest panelists and skewer both pop culture events and personalities, is set to premiere in either summer or fall.

Skein will be produced by McCarthy, Michael Davies, Shelly Tatro, Karla Hidalgo and Jeff Olde.

The actress-comedian hosted MTV dating show “Singled Out” in 1995. She later appeared in a handful of sitcoms, including “Two and a Half Men,” “The Drew Carey Show” and “Just Shoot Me.”
