LMNO cooks up ‘Bacon Boys’ series

Series in development focuses on sizzle sensations

Two bacon-infatuated entrepreneurs are the subject of a primetime reality series being developed by LMNO Prods.

Justin Esch and Dave Lefkow, founders of J&D’s Foods, a multimillion company with bacon flavoring as its central occupation, have partnered with LMNO, producers of such series as CBS’ “I Get That a Lot” and TLC’s “The Little Couple.”

“The ‘Bacon Boys’ are what reality buyers are asking for,” LMNO prexy and CEO Eric Schotz said. “Big characters, working in an interesting subculture who are completely authentic. These guys are all that, just wrapped in bacon…and who doesn’t love bacon?”

J&D’s products aren’t limited to food — a bacon coffin (with interior bacon air freshener) and bacon-flavored envelopes are part of their offerings.

“Casting is at the center of all of our development at LMNO,” said Lori Rothschild, the shingle’s development veep. “We are constantly on the look out for breakout characters like Justin and Dave.”
