Lisa Vebber exits NBC

Departure in wake of new sked-head hire

NBC’s top scheduling exec has departed the network in the wake of a new hire to oversee the division, the network confirmed Monday.

Lisa Vebber, senior VP of programm planning and scheduling at the Peacock, exited weeks after Jeff Bader left his longtime post at ABC to become president of programming planning, strategy and research at NBC Entertainment. Vebber had overseen scheduling since early 2011.

Bader’s oversight will extend across primetime, daytime and late-night programming divisions. Research and scheduling departments will report into him.

Vebber’s departure was first reported by blog Vulture.
