Lifetime renews ‘Army Wives’

Net orders 13 episodes for 2013

Lifetime has renewed scripted drama “Army Wives” for a seventh season, ordering 13 episodes for 2013.

Season six, which concluded earlier this month, averaged 3.2 million viewers and was a strong performer among femme adults in its Sunday night time slot.

“Army Wives” is produced by ABC Studios. Mark Gordon and Jeff Melvoin are exec producers.
