Lifetime makes call to ‘HR’

Aaron Kaplan, Kapital behind scripted pilot for 2013

Lifetime has ordered a scripted pilot tentatively titled “HR” for 2013.

The project centers around a director of human resources for a global company who drastically shifts her once uptight managerial style after a head injury. Project is penned by Glenn Porter and will be exec produced by Aaron Kaplan and Kapital Entertainment. Porter and Michel Lohmann are on board to co-exec produce.

Announcement of Lifetime ordering the “HR” pilot follows pilot orders for “Cinnamon Girl,” “Witches of East End” and “The Secret Lives of Wives.” If picked up, the projects will add to a Lifetime scripted slate that includes “Army Wives,” “The Client List” and “Drop Dead Diva.”
