Disney Channel is breathing life back into “Life-Size,” developing a sequel to the 2000 telepic that starred Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan.
Banks will reprise her role as Eve, a doll that magically comes to life, and will also exec produce the TV movie. Cabler’s execs are in talks with potential scribes for the “Life-Size” sequel, which would join the Disney Channel Original movie franchise. Preem of the original “Life-Size” on ABC’s “Wonderful World of Disney” in 2000 delivered 13.6 million total viewers, and rebroadcasts drew strong ratings over the next decade.
