New VP of creative affairs replaces recently ankled Lisa Hackner

Stuart Krasnow is shifting to the Warner Bros. lot where he has been named exec VP of creative affairs at Telepictures.

He replaces Lisa Hackner, who recently departed the studio after a 22-year tenure to develop and produce her own projects.

Reporting to topper Hilary Estey McLoughlin, Krasnow will be responsible for the creation of new programming for Telepictures’ firstrun syndication business, cable strips and digital offerings, and will be charged with identifying ideas and talent across all platforms.

The longtime TV exec arrives at Telepictures after running his own shingle for three years. He had a production deal at Fox 21 and developed projects for a handful of cablers.

“He completely understands our business and brings a fresh perspective and entrepreneurial spirit from running his own production company,” said Estey McLoughlin.
