Shore’s move to bring in a creative exec comes as he steps up development activity at Shore Z after wrapping the eight-season run of “House” on Fox in May. He moved to an overall deal with Sony Pictures TV after a long tenure at Universal TV, home of “House.”
In recent weeks Shore has nabbed a pilot order from ABC for a legal drama that he is writing. And he’s teamed with Peter Tolan, who is also based at Sony, to co-write a buddy police drama for Fox (Daily Variety, Sept. 28).
Gunn spent 10 years at Imagine TV, rising to senior veep of development and current programming.
“I’m excited to have Erin aboard,” Shore said. “I’ve found her insight and creative acumen in the development process unparalleled, and I look forward to working with her as I start this new chapter.”
