David Shore has recruited Imagine TV vet Erin Gunn to head his Sony Pictures TV-based Shore Z Prods.
Shore’s move to bring in a creative exec comes as he steps up development activity at Shore Z after wrapping the eight-season run of “House” on Fox in May. He moved to an overall deal with Sony Pictures TV after a long tenure at Universal TV, home of “House.”
In recent weeks Shore has nabbed a pilot order from ABC for a legal drama that he is writing. And he’s teamed with Peter Tolan, who is also based at Sony, to co-write a buddy police drama for Fox (Daily Variety, Sept. 28).
Gunn spent 10 years at Imagine TV
, rising to senior veep of development and current programming.
“I’m excited to have Erin aboard,” Shore said. “I’ve found her insight and creative acumen in the development process unparalleled, and I look forward to working with her as I start this new chapter.”
