Starz Entertainment has tapped Alison Hoffman as senior vice president of marketing.
Hoffman will oversee all marketing strategy elements for the pay cabler, including campaign and creative strategy, development and media planning for original series. She will be based at the company’s Beverly Hills office and report to Nancy McGee, exec VP of marketing.
Before being hired at Starz, Hoffman served as VP of creative and brand strategy at AMC, where she crafted marketing campaigns for skeins including “Mad Men,” “Breaking Bad” and “The Walking Dead.” Hoffman also worked as a consultant for Cineflix Studios, helping to launch the shingle’s first original scripted series “Copper,” which will bow this summer on BBC America.
“With Starz continuing its investment in immersive and cinematic original programming, we could not be more thrilled that Alison has joined our team,” said McGee.
